She serves as principal percussionist and timpanist with the Minot Symphony Orchestra and is bell choir director at Congregational United Church of Christ in Minot.

In addition to playing in MSO, Ms. Veikley has performed with numerous community groups including the Western Plains Opera, Brass Band of Minot, Minot Chamber Chorale, Minot City Band and MSU Summer Theatre. Ms. Veikley performed in Europe, Taiwan and Japan as a percussionist with International Music Camp Tour Bands under the direction of Dr. Merton Utgaard. In 2001, she arranged and orchestrated the music for "Medora," an original musical play by Glory Monson, which was performed by the Village Arts Community Theatre in Rugby, ND.

In addition to building a superb Percussion Program and Percussion Ensemble at Minot State, Mrs. Veikley is also faculty advisor for the MSU Drum Line, an ensemble that is quickly gaining wide recognition in this area.
